What are DIDs and Verifiable Credentials?
Decentralized Identifiers (DIDs) are a new type of globally unique identifier that enables verifiable digital identity. Verifiable Credentials are tamper-evident digital certificates that can be instantly verified without contacting the issuer. Together, they enable secure, portable identity verification.
How do DID credentials integrate with identity verification?
After completing a successful identity verification, we can automatically issue a verifiable credential containing the verification results. This credential can be stored in digital wallets and presented to other parties as proof of your verified identity, eliminating the need for repeated verifications.
